To impart high Quality Technical & Professional education in order to mold the learners into globally competitive professionals who are professionally deft, intellectually adept and socially responsible.

The Department of Mechanical strives to make the learners inculcate and imbibe pragmatic perception and pro-active nature, so as to enable them to acquire a vision for exploration and an insight for advanced inquire.

Infrastructure

Facilities for Class room instructions

The department is having adequate well furnished class rooms along with LCD projector facility that support latest content delivery methods. The department has ICT rooms for analyzing, solving of the numerical problems of various subjects.  Facilities are also available for the presentations, Group Discussions and various association activities.

Laboratory Facilities

Laboratories play an important role in providing practical and experiential learning to students.  Department is having excellent laboratories which cater the needs of curriculum and research.

Some of the important advanced facilities are:

  • Computer Numerical Controlled Machines(CNC)
  • 5-axis robotic arm
  • Lathe Tool Dynamometer
  • Advanced modelling software tools (SOLID WORKS, AUTOCAD, CATIA, INVENTOR PROFESSIONAL)
  • Advanced CAE software tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN)
  • Advanced CAM software (MASTER CAM)
  • Advanced Simulation software (FLEXSIM , AUTOMOD)
  • Tally surf for surface roughness measurement

National Education Award: Dr.  P. Divakara Rao has received “Best Professor of Mechanical Engineering Studies"  by DEWANG MEHTA  National Education Award (Regional)  on 15/11/19 at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad.
