Short-Term Goals

Implement Curriculum in line with industry requirements and incorporate practical skill-based courses and certifications

Organize student skill building programs by providing training, internships and live projects to foster student placements and higher education

Organize innovation and entrepreneurship awareness programs to promote start-ups and incubation on campus

Conduct faculty development programs and training in AI in Civil Engineering, green construction and other allied and interdisciplinary areas

Establish linkages with industries and consulting firms for student and faculty development

Maintain and upgrade infrastructure, equipment and software in the department to provide modern facilities to the students and faculty

Maintain documentation and collect periodic feedback to practice quality in line with institutional IQAC, NBA and NAAC

Conduct technology and social extension programs for societal development
Long term goals

Develop the Department as a recognized Centre of Excellence in specialized fields such as structural engineering, transportation engineering, green construction or geotechnical engineering.

Develop research and innovation centres in advanced areas of civil engineering and seek funding from government funding agencies and industry besides conducting consultancy and technical services

Enter into MoUs with premiere national and international universities for faculty and student development programs
