The event was organized by Kalam's Institute of Youth Excellence in association with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), AeSI, and T-Works, on the eve of National Science Day. The expo served as a remarkable platform connecting students with advancements in space science, aeronautics, defense technologies, and emerging innovations. |

Dr. Akheel Mohammad, Associate Professor of AI&ML, and Mr. Purushottam, Assistant Professor, attended the "National Conclave on Research & Deep Technologies for Sustainable Bharat 2047," held on February 28, 2026, in observance of National Science Day. Hosted at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) in Hyderabad and organized by the Research Heights Foundation (RHF), the prominent event convened top policymakers, defense leaders, AI pioneers, and academicians. The conclave's primary agenda was to architect India's research and deep-tech roadmap, ensuring alignment with the national goals of Viksit Bharat @2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Critical discussions throughout the event centered on themes such as AI and national compute infrastructure, deep-tech sovereignty, and the effective translation of academic research into industrial applications. During the opening session, Dr. Nagendra K, Founder and Director of RHF, delivered an address setting the context for collective action, emphasizing the vital need for collaboration among academia, industry, and the government, championed by sustainability ecosystem partners like Greenko. |

MINI PROJECT ORIENTATION FOR III YEAR AIML AND CSM STUDENTS: An orientation session on “Structured Approach to Mini Project Development” was conducted by SAK Informatics, a Hyderabad-based IT services company, for III Year AIML and CSM students on March 30, 2026. The session aimed to guide students in executing mini projects with a professional and industry-oriented approach. The session was highly interactive and focused on bridging the gap between academic project work and real-world expectations. |

INDUSTRIAL VISITS: The industrial visits organized by the CSE (AI&ML) and AI&ML departments to the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad provided valuable exposure to students in the domain of satellite data processing, geospatial technologies, and real-world AI applications. Students gained practical insights into how remote sensing supports environmental monitoring, disaster management, and resource planning. |
