Students from our IT department participated actively in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026,from 1st April to 2nd April one of the most prestigious national-level hackathons in the country.

Professors of IT Department attended an Intensive Teaching Workshop gaining valuable insights into modern teaching methodologies and effective classroom practices.

A State-level Hackathon was organized at our college on 21st and 22nd February 2025, bringing together talented minds from IT and CSE departments across the state.

The students participated in Technovate for India, an event aimed at helping handloom weavers from Telangana sell their products directly online. The event included a Conclave for College Managements and an Ideathon for students, offering opportunities to learn, ideate, and network.

Our student participated in a debate organized by the Language Club at JBIET. The debate was centered on the topic 'Gen AI: Friend or Foe,' where they presented their viewpoints and engaged in thoughtful discussions about the implications of generative AI.

The students took part in a paper presentation event organized at MGIT College.
