The AICTE IDEA Lab at J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology (JBIET) is established with the following aims:

• To inspire original thinking and strengthen students’ ability to analyze and innovate.
• To offer a practical workspace where ideas can be transformed into functional prototypes using contemporary tools and technologies.
• To promote collaboration across different disciplines, enabling learners to address complex, real-life challenges effectively.
• To foster an entrepreneurial culture by supporting students and faculty in developing and pursuing startup-oriented initiatives.
• To integrate academic knowledge with national development goals, supporting initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
