Electronics & Communications Engineering
The department of ECE in best known for its talented and dedicated professionals renowned for their excellence in various specializations in the field of Electronics. The department is provided with state of the art technological tools incorporated in all the existent laboratories. For the last five years the students of the ECE, who walked out of the portals of the institute successfully, holding their degrees, were immediately inducted into the MNCs of high reputation in India & abroad. The augmentation of the intake of the department from 90 to 120 in the year 2004, the introduction of M. Tech program in VLSI System Design in 2007 with an intake of 18 and the accreditation of the department by NBA (AICTE), New Delhi are some of the worth mentioning laurels placed on the crown of the department.

Infrastructure
The field
on which the world banks the most should have the best of
infrastructure too. Presently, the Department has fully equipped,
well-established laboratories with range of sophisticated equipment
and design softwares like VHDL, Verilog (VLSI/E-CAD-xilinx, active
HDL, modelsim) and Pspice (MultiSim), including microprocessor and
micro controller interfacing tools as prescribed by the JNTU
curriculum. It also consists of modern microwave and advanced
communication laboratories. All the laboratories are well planned
and spacious to accommodate the students as per the JNTU and AICTE
norms.

Research and Development
In-house projects are being implemented by the professors of the department to keep in tune with the developments in the field of electronics and thereby presenting a role model for the young faculty members. Students and faculty members of the department have been actively participating in harnessing the developments in hardware and firmware technologies.
