Civil Engineering
 Civil Engineering Department of JBIET started in the Academic Year 2006 -2007 with annual student intake of 60. This course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUniversity.
Dr.G. Jagmohan Das is heading the department. Dr.G. Jagmohan Das is renowned academician with over 40 years of experience in JNTU and other reputed institutions. Civil Engineering Department consists of modern laboratories of Surveying, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geo Technical Engineering, Concrete & Highway Engineering, GIS & CAD. The Civil Engineering Department is manned by a team of highly qualified faculty members, out of which one faculty member is having PhD and one faculty member is pursuing her Phd., and other five faculty members are having M.Tech. Separate Book bank, Exclusive Placements are few of the facilities provided to Civil Engineering Students.
Civil Engineering students of JBIET take part actively in various cultural and sports events. They actively participate in social service endeavors by joining NIRMAAN group and NSS.
