Established in the year 1993 by Sri J.Bhaskar Rao with the lofty aim of providing quality professional education and meeting the rising expectations of student community in Andhra Pradesh,J.B.Educational Society has been striding towards achieving the objective of excellence in the fields of Engineering, Medicine,Management,Hotel Management and Information Technology. After the inception of the society, the first establishment that emerged under the sponsorship of JBES was J.B.Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, in 1994, on Road No.1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and offered three-year degree program in BHMCT.

JBES, with an allocation of 27.5 acres of land on the main road, had established an Engineering College at Yenkapally village, Vikarabad main road, Moinabad Mandal, Hyderabad–75, with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and the government of Andhra Pradesh. The college started functioning from the academic year 1998-99 in the name of J.B.Institute of Engineering & Technology, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, with four branches and a total intake of 240 students. The present intake of the college is more than 1700 students.

J B Institute of Engineering & Technology has emerged as one of the largest institutes with the highest intake of 1080 in AP.The following details can reveal the authenticity of the strength of the college.
